Artificial Reality Beauty Tools Are Growing Online
Whether it's going to get your brows waxed or tweezed by someone new or having no idea how to create the brows you aspire to have at home, we've all felt like we may or may not be wasting our money — and maybe even endangering our brows. Benefit Cosmetics might have a solution. Known for Brow Bars around the country and a new brow collection that launched in June 2016, Benefit has created an augmented reality tool, aptly named Brow Try-On. If you've ever wondered what you'd look like with straighter, thicker, lighter, or darker brows with higher arches, this site is meant to keep you from gambling with tweezing or buying unnecessary products. Instead, the site creates different brow styles on your face so you can decide what looks best. We tried it out before anyone else, and it looks like your actual brows are changing before your very eyes, not like a filter you'd find on Snapchat or Instagram.
