Is wasp-infused vodka the new mescal-worm tequila?

Craft distilling is the new craft brewing. Small new distilleries seem to be opening all the time, and each is producing small batches of unique offerings, some with unusual flavors, and others made from unlikely materials, like cow's milk. Shouchuu, from Japan is wasp-infused vodka, purportedly made from live wasps to give drinkers an alcoholic sting.
