At Colindale police station in London, a new footprint scanner is now able to check possible perpetrators footprints against a database the within a matter of hours. The technology has already won fans helping catch several dozen burglars. Success means that the scanners will soon handed to police stations throughout the U.K., and given their effectiveness, to cops in countries worldwide. Watch where you step.
