The ultimate in upcycling: Bolivians are now living in houses made from recycled plastic bottles

In Bolivia, nearly half of the population lives below the poverty line. This means that housing is a huge problem and many don’t have the necessary funds to live in suitable accomodation. Now readily-available plastic bottles are being filled with soil and used to build houses.
