Chinese robots autonomously ride the subway to deliver goods

A robot dispatching system developed by Wanwei Logistics is now autonomously taking the subway in Shenzhen to make "last mile" deliveries. The robot itself chooses the optimal boarding line and distributes goods to convenience stores on the Bay Tower line. Shenzhen metro caters to 10 million passengers a day and now they are joined by non-human ones. Officials hope that by using robots, the system will have fewer parking difficulties and lower the high cost of distribution.
